Clinical and research interests: Dr. Pearce focuses on all manifestations of peripheral vascular disease and is trained in both minimally invasive and open vascular surgery. His specific clinical interests include stent grafting for acute aortic dissection, hybrid aortic surgery, cerebrovascular disease, and open lower extremity revascularization.
Dr. Pearce's clinical research includes application of stent graft technology to acute aortic dissection and improving outcomes of lower extremity revascularization in the endovascular era. He is also interested in the future of surgical education and advancing the current curriculum within the constraints of work hour restrictions.
